Behavioral medicine is a specialized clinical service utilizing behavioral, diagnostic and/or therapeutic techniques to solve problems that have medical consequences or a medical basis. Behavioral medicine combines medical and behavioral (psychological) methods of evaluation and treatment, focusing on patients with pain syndromes, stress and anxiety related illnesses, addictions, and depression.
